Preliminary results demonstrate the educational use of tablet computers has several advantages, along with a few limitations needing to be addressed. The constant comparative method was used to analyze the qualitative data resulting from these interviews.

Semi-structured interviews are conducted with two Science and Technology (S & T) and three Information Technology (IT) public school instructors to further investigate this significant problem. Students access the class recordings as often as needed to review the material. The instructor prepares Adobe Shockwave (.swf) files using Camtasia and posts them on the course management website immediately after class. Camtasia Studio is used for full lecture capture and allows the instructor to produce recordings of the lectures that incorporate the instructor's annotated slides, all student work viewed in class, and completely synchronized audio that captures both instructor and student comments through an external USB microphone () placed near the instructor's work area.
